His Royal Highness, the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, stressed the importance of investments in shipping, transport and cargo sectors.
He was speaking as he received in Gudhaibiya Palace Dr. Frank Appel serves as Chief Executive Officer of DHL.
During the meeting, HRH the Premier stressed the importance of the shipping and transport companies in supporting investment as they are considered one of its main pillars, highlighting the existing cooperation between Kingdom of Bahrain and “DHL,” which has started its operations from Bahrain since over 36 years, in addition to its role in providing training and employment opportunities for Bahraini cadres.
HRH the Premier also asserted that the launch of the work of the company “DHL” from Bahrain enhances air transport services in the Kingdom and supports the growth of companies that provide logistics services and reinforces the prestige enjoyed by Kingdom of Bahrain in the aviation world.
HRH the Prime Minister highlighted that the government is continuing to improve its services that support investment and development.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of “DHL,” lauded the support and investment the company enjoys in Bahrain by the assistance of the Government chaired by HRH the Prime Minister, which contributed in the continuity of the company and its cooperation success with Kingdom of Bahrain along this period.
