The new hub, an affiliate of the Social Development Ministry, aims at instilling the culture of scientific and technological culture among Bahraini youngsters, promoting family-oriented recreational education and encouraging hobbies and activities.
Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al-Khalifa underscored the important vocation of the new facility, commending the efforts of the Social Development Ministry to set up such centres and promote learning opportunities for Bahraini budding and talented youngsters.
She hailed the landmark strides achieved by the educational sector – a cornerstone of the reform project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. Social Development Minister Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al-Balooshi paid tribute to Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al-Khalifa for inaugurating the scientific centre, stressing the role of new facility in promoting sciences and technology in society and fostering the scientific culture.
