The Kingdom of Bahrain, being strategically located in the region, will continue to serve as an important tourism and shopping destination in the Middle East, an executive at a leading global brand, said.

“Bahrain will continue to attract major global brands to cater for the growing needs of the local and regional customers, thanks to the Kingdom’s stature as shopping destination in the MENA,” Nespresso Market Director for the Middle East, Africa and Caribbean, Pierre Debayle, on the sidelines of the opening of the first Nespresso boutique, told The24X7News.

Nespresso boutique inaugurated by the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Dr Hassan Abdulla Fakhro, and the ceremony was attended by Hussain Dewani, with over 60 local dignitaries an invite-only event at the new Boutique, government officials, business partners and media representatives.

With a total surface area of 50 square meters, the Nespresso Boutique will serve a discerning clientele of visitors to Bahrain City Centre which is home to some of the world’s most luxurious and fashionable brands.

“It is always a special moment to open a first Boutique in a country. Now we are proud to offer to our Bahraini customers this beautiful Boutique, where they will be able to experience the brand universe, taste our Coffee Grands Crus and recipes, and meet our coffee experts. We will continue to invest and develop the brand in the country, because we feel there would be a good match with the Bahraini culture of hospitality and Nespresso. The Boutique is a strong sign of our will to engage a long lasting relationship with our Bahraini Club Members,” Pierre Debayle, added.

Nespresso, the worldwide pioneer in premium portioned coffee, achieves another milestone in its Middle East expansion plan with the opening of its first boutique in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The luxury coffee brand will be opening its first boutique in the country at the renowned Bahrain City Centre which is strategically located on Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa Highway in the heart of Manama. The mall is close to the Financial District of Manama and receives highest footfall than any other mall in Bahrain annually.
The new launch brings the total number of Nespresso boutiques in the Middle East, Africa and Caribbean (MEAC) region to 28, making MEAC one of the fastest growing regions for Nespresso globally.

“Nespresso is a truly global brand with a very special appeal to the people of Bahrain. The diverse range of personal coffee machines and gourmet coffee from Nespresso will bring a new experience to coffee lovers here, enabling them to make the perfect cup of espresso every time, from the comfort of their home.” He added, “Soj Bahrain WLL is proud to partner with Nespresso on this momentous occasion and we look forward to a long and successful partnership to benefit customers for years to come in Bahrain,” Waseem Gharaibeh, General Manager of Soj Bahrain WLL, the exclusive distributor for Nespresso in the Kingdom, said.

The Nespresso boutique will provide customers with a comfortable and relaxed coffee tasting and shopping experience with designated zones displaying the wide variety of Grand Cru coffee on offer, along with an accessory display adjacent to the full selection of Nespresso machines to suit every style and preference.

The Boutique has been designed to provide a personalized service and respond to specific needs of Nespresso clients. For those who prefer a full immersion in the art of Nespresso coffee tasting, a Coffee Specialist is at hand to guide them through the extensive selection of Grand Cru coffee, creating a personalised journey for each client from the beginning. Boutique visitors can also learn more about the world of Nespresso; its unique brewing and extracting system and its range of coffee machines and accessories.
