Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa and Thai Ambassador to Bahrain Vichai Varasirikul opened the Thai Cultural Festival at the Cultural Hall in presence of a number of diplomats, guests and members of public.
The Ministry of Culture is organizing the festival with the Thai Ministry of Culture and Manama-based Thai Embassy. The festival, which marks the first anniversary of the memorandum of understanding bonding the two countries, is part of the festivities celebrating Manama Capital of Arab Tourism 2013.
