Detainee escapes from SMC in Manama

The Director of Reformation and Rehabilitation announced that Aymen Abdulshaheed Ramadan, 24, who was in custody on a security-related case, managed on Monday at 3:30pm to escape from Salmaniya Medical Complex where he had been admitted for treatment.

The Director said that an immediate search was launched and an investigation into the case had begun.
