Zero tolerance for delay in development projects

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed his constant personal follow up of projects and keenness to have them completed according to the pre-set schedule so as to ensure that the interests of the citizens, for whom they are set up, are not affected by any delay.

This came as HRH Prime Minister received at the Gudaibiya Palace, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, a number of senior officials, including the Speaker of the Representatives Council Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and a number of MPs.

During the audience, HRH Premier stressed the need to take environmental issues and concerns of the citizens into consideration through taking advantage of modern technology, instructing the Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry to re-consider ways of recycling waste and residues in a way that reduces environmental harm.

HRH Premier emphasised the importance of going ahead with the dilapidated houses project and other urban development projects so as to achieve the aspired goals of enabling the citizens across Bahrain’s cities and villages to enjoy the best services.
