The Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr. Hassan Fakhro reviewed bilateral ties in trade, investment and commercial sectors with Hong Kong during a meeting with Dr YC Chow, Bahrain’s Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Bahrain in Hong Kong and his accompanied Honorary Vice Consul, Ivan Pam, Oscar Chow and Olivia Cheung.
During the meeting, the minister praised the bilateral economic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Hong Kong, noting the significant role played by the leadership and the government of the two countries and their directions aimed at promoting joint economic vision. The Minister noted in this regard to the significant role played by mutual visit between officials and businessmen from both countries to achieve required growth in these relations, which reflected on trade size and economic cooperation between the two sides.
Dr. Chow thanked and appreciated the efforts made by the Minister in order to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain as a gateway for business region and open door for investors for all over the world to make Bahrain a center for their projects and businesses in the region.
