The minister lauded deep-rooted historical relations bonding the Kingdom of Bahrain and Italy on the basis of cordiality, cooperation and mutual respect.
She hailed steadily-growing diplomatic, economic, media and cultural relations, citing in this regard the opening of the Italian embassy in Manama in 2002 as His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa was pioneering the reform and democratic project in Bahrain.
The Italian ambassador thanked the minister for her warm welcome, stressing his country’s keenness on promoting bilateral partnership and bolstering trade, investment and tourism cooperation
He also affirmed keen interest to transfer technical and legislative expertise to the Bahraini side, contribute to upgrading audio-visual media and enhancing the standard of Bahraini media cadres.
