Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) strongly condemned the terror blast which happened in Bani Jamra village, leaving several on-duty policemen injured.
The chamber rapped the dangerous criminal escalation despite the efforts exerted to ensure security and stability prevails all over the kingdom. It also wished the injured security officers a speedy recovery, stressing the need to take the necessary deterrent measures against those targeting the security personnel and trying to undermine national stability and security.
BCCI also voiced deep concern over the dangerous escalation which requires denunciation by all sides as, it said, cannot be justified by any means. It expressed support to the measures taken and that will be taken by the competent security bodies to stop such terror acts and prevent their recurrence. It also underscored the importance of intensifying efforts and initiatives to boost civic peace and maintain the social fabric, adding that it heavily relies on the Bahraini people in confronting terror and those seeking to undermine hard-won achievements and shake the investors’ confidence in Bahrain’s economic and investment climate.
The chamber praised the efforts made to solve all economic, political and social problems through the National Consensus Dialogue, stressing the need to stand firm against terror acts by might of the law. It hailed the efforts of the Interior Ministry and its national role in confronting terror and escalation, calling on it to intensify presence of the security officers in vital economic areas.
It also urged all to back the government’s efforts to restore security and stability and renounce the provocative rhetoric inciting violence.
