The Minister of State of Interior Affairs, Major-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel announced on Thursday that the Interior Ministry has a duty to protect the security and general order of the nation.
He said this supports the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, reinforces the wishes of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and also backs His Royal
Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The Minister stressed that HRH Prime Minister’s praise of the policemen’s performance in Bahrain and his appreciation of their hard work acts as a motive for the police to continue to uphold the law and to identify anyone who attempts to affect the security of the nation and its citizens.
He said that the Ministry’s personnel affirm their loyalty to the wise leadership of the nation and express their gratitude for the support and trust they have received. They vow to remain loyal and to continue to perform their duties professionally. The Minister concluded by saying that members of the Ministry pray to God to protect the nation under the prosperous era of HM the King.
