He was accompanied during the inspection visit by Southern Municipal Council Chairman Mohsin Al-Bakri, Municipal Councilor Isa Al-Dosari and other officials. The Minister asserted resolve to continue efforts to implement development projects across Bahrain in cooperation with the municipal councils.
He stressed the vital role of the municipal councils in upgrading the standard of services and promoting urban development. He underlined keenness on achieving sustained urban development in line with the workplan set by the Government led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa.
He also underscored the importance of the Al-Dour coast development project, which comes as part of a comprehensive strategy to revamp coastline areas across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
