Batelco’s first photographic competition, Bahrain Eye, concluded successfully with a two day exhibition, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, at Bahrain Art Gallery. The contest proved to be very popular with Bahrain’s aspiring photographers who submitted over 800 photos in 5 categories Places in Bahrain, People in Bahrain, Nature and Wildlife in Bahrain, Tawasel (Communication) and Mobile photography. Over 200 photos were selected for display at the exhibition.
The photos were reviewed and judged by four professional Bahraini photographers; Ali Al Refaei, Ali Al Marzooq, Jaan Al Balooshi and Ahmed Zaman who all highly praised the excellent quality and creativity of the work submitted.
