The National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) expressed deep grief and profound regret for the death of one of the Interior Ministry’s security forces personnel and injury of two others, during carrying out their duties in protecting citizens and government and private properties in Sitra, Saturday evening, due to the explosion of a domestically made bomb.
The NIHR calls for, on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, Bahrain’s wise people to address the phenomenon of violence by adopting unified actions to stop all illegal acts and to contribute to the achievement of national reconciliation.
The NIHR extends condolences to the family of the deceased and wishes a speedy recovery to the injured in that tragic incident.
