Parliament Chairman Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani strongly condemned the terror explosion which targeted Shaikh isa bin Salman Mosque in Riffa, as worshippers were performing “Taraweeh prayers”.
In a statement tonight the Parliament Speaker denounced the heinous act which plunges the country in the infernal sectarian cauldron and subverts national security and unity.
He urged political leaders who pretend to be patriotic to condemn unequivocally this dangerous escalation in violence, crime and terror that endangers citizens and residents’ lives.
He called on officials in the Interior Ministry to arrest the criminal culprits quickly, affirming that these desperate attempts to subvert national security would never prevent the leadership, the Government and loyal people from continuing the democratic and reform process.
