Al-Saleh slammed violence which threatens national security and stability, describing such acts as alien to kind-hearted and peace-loving Bahrainis.
The Shura Council Speaker said that Bahrain is at this defining moment in dire need for dialogue to cement national unity and reach a national consensus that meets all people’s aspirations.
He stressed the crucial importance of the reform project, initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, as a guarantor of peaceful expression of opinion in compliance with the constitution and law provisions.
Al-Saleh extended heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the bereaved family of the martyred policemen, wishing the injured quick recovery.
