The Director General of the Central Governorate Police Directorate said a number of security men, on Saturday, responded to a terrorist group conducting acts of rioting and vandalism at Al-Koura in the Central Governorate, and added the preliminary details of the incident indicated that while the security men were addressing the terrorists, a number of terrorists attempted attacking the security men by a knife that was carried by one of them, eventually they were dispersed according to the law.
He added that the security directorate, later received information reported an injured girl at the same area, who was transferred to a hospital for treatment. He stressed operations of search and investigations are underway to uncover the circumstances of the incident, which was reported to the Public Prosecution.
