Bahrain’s private sector exhibits maturity

Minister of Labour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Labour Market Regulatory Authority, Jameel Bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan lauded the awareness level shown by the employers, workers and companies by rejecting the so called strike call given by some unscrupulous quarters.

The minister highlighted that they all showed full keenness on the continuity of the work course away from any attempts that may inflict damage to their interests, to the factors of the national economy, and to the stability of the security of their society and homeland.

Humaidan stressed that the data indicated that the work in the private facilities yesterday was running smoothly and naturally with loving, harmony and national cohesion environments, preserving homeland integration and its interests and stability under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa and the respected government.

Marking the occasion, the minister stated that Ministry of Labour expresses its utmost thanks and appreciation for the companies, institutions, all workers, labour unions, and everyone who sincerely dedicate their work to spare the country any problems or crises, which may disrupt the noble meanings that everyone were keen, during the past period, to devote for strengthening the national unity, and achieving prosperity for society.

On this occasion, the minister also asserted that parties of production, including employers and workers, and with a positive and fruitful cooperation with the relevant governmental entities, would remain, with their sincere efforts, loyal to their dear Bahrain, to their wise leadership and society aiming at achieving pride, growth and stability. He said that those loyal people would always be advocates for the welfare and construction of Kingdom of Bahrain and its renaissance.

The minister stated that those loyal people would defend the interests of Kingdom of Bahrain, raise its prestige among nations, reinforce its leading position in the labour areas, maintain the continuity of its efforts, and support the sustainable development efforts adopted by the respected government chaired by the Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, with a kind support from the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

At the conclusion of his statement, Minister of Labour called on the trade union organizations and the national supporters to keep the work and production environment away from any calls targeting to harm them, crippling their growth, stability and integration, or involving them in mysterious calls that are not consistent with the nature and spirit of the loving society.

The minister also called those trade union organizations to be keen on strengthening the national cohesion to maintain development and construction march, achieve the high national interests, show the national and responsible spirit to increase production, and develop the loyalty spirit for the companies and homeland. The minister pointed out that all of these efforts would contribute in stabilizing the national economy, achieve more welfare for citizens, and promote the production wheel and stability of labour market, where the Kingdom would enjoy economic stability and growth.
