Addressing the weekly Cabinet briefing, the Minister applauded the local media and said that the recent efforts of the MSIA have helped the Bahrain News Agency to become one of the prime sources of information.
“Bahrain’s media sector is making great strides in tackling with misinformation about the country and trying to portray a clear picture of the country,” she said, while commenting on the local media role in the national building.
“The role of the state run BNA has become relevant as this entity is now playing the role as the main source of information to local and international media outlets,” Minister said adding that there had been increase in number of people visiting the BNA website to get correct information.
