August 15, 2013
0

PMHis Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa praised the patriotic stance of participants in Al-Fateh gathering and its role in defending Bahrain and thwarting plots to drag it into the cauldron of anarchy.

He was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace Head of the Executive Committee of the National Unity Assembly Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Mahmood Al Mahmood and members of the committee and the assembly’s Central Authority.

HRH the Prime Minister lauded the key role played by political societies in protecting the nation. He said determination of the Bahraini people to confront terrorism and its instigators has foiled incitement of anarchy and sabotage which aimed to sow chaos and destroy Bahrain’s hard-won national and civilisational achievements.

He urged to draw a lesson from what happened, be more vigilant and work together for the best interest of the homeland and the future of the posterity.

He voiced Bahrain’s resolve to continue its development march, adding that the Kingdom was able to emerge stronger after managing to thwart plots against it thanks to the unity of it people.

“We have a historic responsibility which is the implementation of the recommendations of the National Assembly-a trust put on our shoulders by the Bahraini people and we have to fully assume this responsibility,” he asserted taking pride in the role of the National Unity Assembly in defending Bahrain.

He also underlined support to the assembly, pointing out that carrying out the recommendations aims to stop terrorism and steer the country clear of its dangers.

“We are making confident steps in this regard,” he said, adding that the stances of the National Unity Assembly will remain cherished by the national memory to draw a wonderful epic in patriotism.

He vowed to take the necessary measures against anyone who tries to undermine Bahrain’s security and stability, urging all to be up to the national responsibility and prevent terror groups from dragging the nation into a dark tunnel.

He asserted that terrorism which Bahrain has been subject to will never weaken the national will and security.

“We need a bigger effort than ever before to rally ranks,” he said, calling on all Bahrainis to stand firm and united in order to deter terrorism and its instigators.

“Terrorism will find no place among us and will be confronted decisively and powerfully,” HRH the Premier emphasised.

Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Mahmood Al Mahmood extended thanks and respect to HRH the Prime Minister for his honourable patriotic stances and his visits to various regions of Bahrain.

He said that the National Unity Assembly is aware of the responsibility entrusted with it for the best interest of the nation and the future of the posterity.
