HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister visited a number of areas in and around the capital Manama on Tuesday as part of efforts to ensure general public that everything goes well on despite the call of disgruntled elements to observe ‘civil disobedience’ Day on Wednesday August 14th, 2013.
HRH inspected its main streets and commercial neighborhoods, including Alnoaim, Alsowaifiya, the Central Market and the Manama market. He was reassured that the commercial and service sectors will flow smoothly in these neighborhoods, with the Government providing a secure and stable environment for all citizens and residents.
The Prime Minister said that the Government through its specialized agencies was capable of dealing with any attempt to disrupt security, or attack or threaten citizens by forcing them to do anything that would harm their source of income and best interests.
HRH the Prime Minister noted that the Government’s continuous efforts and hard work to ensure stability and enforce security in the Kingdom help the service and commercial sectors maintain smooth operations and improve business. He stated that the government will not allow anything to obstruct the development and economic activities in the Kingdom.
