The security forces in Bahrain were out in force on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr to foil acts of terror aimed at disrupting public order, terrorizing people and curbing their liberties.
Terrorists sowed targeted villages and highways in the Northern region, Muharraq and Sitra and used violence to disrupt the traffic, cripple trade activities and Eid festivities and terrorise and curb people’s liberties.
Citizens braved terror and acts of sabotage to celebrate the Eid Al-Fitr, with their self-restraint and discipline, which thwarted terrorists’ designs and helped the security forces maintain public order.
