Bahrain-headquartered global Islamic banking major, Al Baraka Banking Group (ABG), won Most Outstanding Institution for Contribution to Islamic Finance Award on the sidelines of the 10th session of the Kuala Lumpur Islamic Finance Forum.
The ABG winning of the award is honor and recognition of its significant efforts and contributions in the development of the Islamic finance industry.
Moesfian Mokhtar ABG Chief Representative Office in Indonesia has received the award on behalf of ABG from Y.B Senator Abd Wahid Omar, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Department.
“This award is very important, as it is a new international recognition of the achievements of Al Baraka Banking Group regionally and globally.” He added: “Al Baraka Banking Group will continue to develop and deliver innovative Islamic financial instruments and services to the financial markets across all its banking units,” Board Member and President and Chief Executive of Al Baraka Banking Group Adnan Ahmed Yousif said.
