The event, which will focus on integrating women’s needs in development, will be co-organised by SCW, the Bahrain Women Union and the cooperation committee between SCW and the women societies and committees. It is in line with HRH Princess Sabeeka’s decision number 1 for 2007 on setting up the cooperation committee and stipulating holding a national conference for Bahraini women every three years, in coordination with relevant parties.
The 2nd conference is complementary to the previous one and aims primarily at following up on the national model to integrate women’s needs in development and highlighting the main achievements and challenges amid local and international developments.
