The General Director of Crime Detection and Forensic Science has announced that the operation room received a call from Salmaniya Medical Complex about a dead person who had been brought to the hospital.
The victim was identified as one of the people who had escaped from the detention center on May 19 and had previously been convicted in a criminal case. Initial details indicate that he was murdered at Al Malkiya beach.
The General Director said that the police investigation led to the identification and arrest of five suspects as well as the confiscation of a gun, believed to be the murder weapon. Legal procedures are being taken to refer the case to the public prosecution.
