The Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr Hassan Fakhro, who unveiled Seef Properties new identity, highlighted the importance of the public private partnership (PPP), a major driver of the economic growth.
Under the auspices of Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro a ceremony was held to launch a new identity of Seef Mall, hosted by the chairman of executive Committee Stam Sulaiman Al Gosaibi in presence of Ministry’s officials.
The Minister praised the great efforts made by the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and its fruitful cooperation with the public sector in order to achieve national interests and serve the nation. He noted in this regard the outstanding level and good reputation and growing performance witnessed by Seef Mall, which considered a distinct model for development and investment projects between the private and the public sector.
During the ceremony Vice Chairman of Seef Properties Saqer Shaheen delivered a speech appreciating the government and the ministry for their efforts for supporting the private sector.
He added that unveiling the new identity today is an expression of a new phase of attention to keep pace with families aspirations and provide them with comfort, joy and fun.
Coinciding with the unveiling of new identity, Seef mall announced the first project of its kind in Bahrain called digital graffiti wall, in addition to many activities for children such as drawing on the face, henna, tales and films and other entertainment that will start from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. and there will be also surprises and gifts for visitors and shoppers.
He added that the celebration will also include Isa Town Mall, as well as the new mall in Muharraq which will be opened next year to constitute an important addition to Seef properties. Four restaurants will be opened in Seef Mall and a process to renovate Magic Island by the next year. Currently we are working to expand Isa Town Mall at 1000 meters to include max store.
Dr. Fakhro called investors and the private sector in Bahrain to take advantage of this important experience, stressing that the ministry is ready to support and assist all the projects that will achieve economic growth.
“Since it was founded in 1997, Seef Mall has contributed to promote the flow of visitors and tourists to the Kingdom, and had an active role to support the social responsibility through various activities and initiatives. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I welcome you on this day that we have chosen to inaugurate the new logo,” Shaheen Saqer Vice Chairman of the Seef board said.
“It is no secret to you that we, over the past two years, we have performed large-scale upgrades and improvements of the complex, its facilities, management, services and activities with the aim of underlining and confirming that the concept of “family” is and will remain the subject of our attention as Directors of Board. The launch of the new logo today is an expression of a new phase of this interest. This promising initiative is intended to keep pace with the aspirations of the family, provide Bahraini and GCC families with all requirements of comfort, joy and fun, and make their visit to the Mall a valuable experience. Therefore we, while we change the logo, confirm that the values that we adopt in the Board of Directors of the mall and identity will remain as they are. Therefore our logo is “the Seef Mall ‘new look, same heart”.
“As part of our official inauguration party, we are pleased to announce a five day “Family Entertainment Party” starting today. We would also like to introduce to Bahrain for the first time ever an interactive, unique Digital Graffiti Wall. This is an exciting new use for an old art form – graffiti art combining modern technology. We also have many other family-friendly activities planned for our celebrations, including a large specially designated Kids Activity Area, which will be open from 10am to 10pm during our celebration. Within this space we will have special events and activities including face painting, henna, colouring, storytelling and movie times. In addition we will have prizes and giveaways for our customers to add to the fun.
