Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) chaired at Sakhir Air Base the committee’s second meeting to get updated on the ongoing preparations to hold the third edition of BIAS which will be organised under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from January 16 to 18, 2014.
The meeting was attended by Transportation Minister and Acting Chief Executive of Bahrain Economic Development Board Kamal bin Ahmed and member of the show’s Supreme Organising Committee Major General Mohammed Bu Hussain Al-Mesallam.
Shaikh Abdullah directed to speed up the implementation of what has been agreed on to ensure success of the exhibition which will further boost Bahrain’s advanced status in the aviation show industry.
He also instructed to prepare a comprehensive media strategy to promote the show regionally and internationally and attract a bigger number of participants and attendees.
