Acting Chief Prosecutor in Muharraq Governorate cum Deputy Prosecutor Abdullah Al-Dossary said that the Public Prosecution received a case report from Al-Hidd Police Station, informing that a suspect who was detained on charges of a robbery has suffered health problem this morning as a result of which he had to be shifted to the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) for medical treatment where a medical crew tried to resuscitate him but he passed away.
“Immediately upon receiving the report, a member from the Public Prosecution moved to the SMC’s Morgue and examined the cadaver. Also, a forensic doctor examined the body and decided that there were no traces of any assault or criminal suspicions regarding the cause of his death. The Public Prosecution decided to hand over the body to the family of the deceased. Investigation continues as well as interrogation about the case,” the statement added.
