On behalf of the British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Iain Lindsay, Deputy Head of Mission Russ Dixon presented cheques totalling 14,774 BD to Dee Carvalho of Think Pink Bahrain and Dr Sara Al Reefy of the Bahrain Cancer Society. The money was raised at the Embassy’s hugely popular Pink Garden Party charity event in October.
Fahad Al Shirawi of Punchline Media also handed over a cheque to RIA for the BD 10,000 which was raised at the Faulty Towers charity dinner in November and held under the patronage of the Ambassador.
“I am very grateful for the support and generosity of everyone who attended and sponsored these very worthwhile and fun events. All the chosen charities are doing wonderful work across Bahrain and we are delighted to support them,” Ambassador Lindsay, said.
