Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro confirmed government keenness to develop all markets and commercial facilities especially ancient and heritage in all areas of Bahrain.
This came during a field trip made by Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro and a number of Ministry’s officials to Muharraq old Souq “AlQaisareya”, where he was greeted by Businessman Yousif Hassan Ali, Abdul Moneim AlMir and Saleh Al Zayani. The Minister expressed kingdom’s pride of its trade history, noting that “AlQaisareya” is witnessing todays a big development and considered one of Commercial archaeological and tourist destination to many tourist from all countries that reflects human civilization for Bahrain citizens.
The minister stressed government keenness to provide all the requirements and needs aimed to maintain this location and develop ways to preserve historical identity.
Dr. Fakhro emphasized Ministry readiness to provide all support and assistance possible to develop traditional old Souq “AlQaisareya”, in cooperation and coordination with all parties and committees, praising the great efforts made by these agencies in order to develop the market.
