In a press statement on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the ninth edition of the Manama Dialogue, Dr. Al Zayani praised the importance of the kingdom’s hosting of such a key regional forum which tackles highly sensitive issues, such as regional security.
He pointed out that the recommendations of the Manama Dialogue, in which high-profile officials, experts and academicians are participating, will affect public policies in GCC countries.
Regarding GCC countries’ military forces’ coordination with armies of brotherly and friendly countries, the GCC Chief said that the USA is a “strategic ally” and military cooperation with it started a long time ago.
