HRH Prince His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister received a French parliamentary delegation led by Bahraini-French Friendship Society deputy chairman, Defense and National Forces Committee member, and UMP member, Michel Voisan MP.
His Royal Highness praised the mutual commitment of both the Kingdom of Bahrain and the French Republic to the further development of bilateral ties and collaboration efforts across different fields.
Speaking of the parliamentary engagement between the two countries, His Royal Highness stated that this demonstrates the interests of both countries in further enhancing their close ties, based on mutual respect and understanding.
His Royal Highness also noted the important role played by such high level visits in promoting shared interests.
Michel Voisan commented that the interest and welcome the delegation had received reflected the significance of the relationship between Bahrain and France.
Voisan also emphasised that that the Bahraini-French Friendship Society is committed to further enhancing the relationship between the two countries and wished Bahrain further success and prosperity.
The meeting was also attended by the Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Bahrain, Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani.
