The Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) participated as a Gold Sponsor to the Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS) 2014, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
A number of key dignitaries have been hosted at Bapco’s chalet at the BIAS, which concludes on 18 January 2014 at the Sakhir Airbase and was organised by Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs Directorate. The three-day extravaganza, which hosts various prominent international and national personalities, witnessed a display by various world-famous civil and military aircraft. Bapco has participated in the BIAS with a delegation of Board and Management officials, headed by the company’s Chairman and Acting Chief Executive, Adel Khalil Almoayyed.
“Bapco was proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the third edition of the Bahrain International Air Show. Being a key provider of aviation fuel for a large number of aircraft operating at Bahrain International Airport, the company is proud to co-sponsor the event, which has become a key inclusion in the regional calendar,” Bapco’s Manager Public Relations Naji Ahmed Al-Othman said.
“Bapco’s contribution also echoes its commitment to the kingdom’s strategic Vision 2030,” he added.
The BIAS has garnered growing popularity over the years with growing attendance reflecting the rising success and popularity of this key national endeavour.
