MANAMA: Bahrain-India bilateral relations that are enhanced by mutual visits of the leaders of the two countries and such continuous meetings will have a positive impact on future ties as well, according to a senior official.
Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro, who chaired a high level meeting extended government’s and Ministry’s appreciation for all initiatives and contributions of the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He assured Government’s unlimited support for such initiatives which would activate economic movement in the country.
This came during a meeting with the Minister of Transportation and EDB CEO Kamal Ahmed and BCCI CEO Dr. Essam Fakhro along with a number of Bahraini and Indian businessmen and investors and senior officials.
Dr. Fakhro confirmed Government’s keenness to deepen Kingdom relation to all countries of the world including the economic relations. Dr. Fakhro noted the efforts made by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in enhancing these relations through programs and activities to raise trade exchange between the two countries and to open door for more investments and projects that reflect the long history of relation between the two countries.
A number of issues and topics related Bahrain-India relations were discussed and ways to develop them at all levels and levels, especially commercial and industrial.
