New hotel at Hawar Islands to stir touristic activity

MANAMA: Al Namal and VKL Group of Companies Chairman and Managing Director Varghese Kurian briefed the Chief Executive Officer of Electricity and Water Authority Shaikh Nawaf Bin Ebrahim Bin Hamad Al Khalifa and outlined his plans for the opening of the hotel and development of Hawar Islands.

Kurian, who had signed an agreement with Southern Area Development Company to operate Hawar Islands Hotel, discussed electricity and water situation in Hawar Islands.

“I welcome and appreciate the initiative taken by Mr. Kurian to open the hotel shortly and his plans to develop Hawar Islands into a leading tourist centre in Bahrain,” Shaikh Nawaf said and assured EWA full support.

“It shows the confidence of the business community in the investment friendly policies of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Hawar Island holds a special place in the heart of the people of Bahrain and its development is very important”.

Shaikh Nawaf also assured that EWA will provide sufficient and continuous supply of electricity and water to the hotel.
