A policeman martyred after sustaining serious injuries in a terror blast which happened in Al-Dair village on Friday, the Interior Ministry twitted.
The Ministry said in a statement yesterday that some villages in Bahrain had witnessed acts of sabotage and blocking of roads which required intervention of the security officers to confront the vandals according to legal norms.
Two policemen were injured in a terror explosion in Al-Dair, the ministry announced earlier.
A civilian car parked on Isa Al Kabeer Highway was set ablaze with Molotov cocktails and a police bus was damaged in a terror blast in Al-Deeh village, the ministry pointed out, adding that 26 saboteurs were arrested and legal procedures are being taken.
Deployment of the security officers in some regions to ensure people’s safety will continue in the next days to handle any violations and boost security, it affirmed.
