Shaikh Nasser is currently visiting the Philippines to deliver development aid to the friendly Philippines people following Typhoon Haiyan which struck the country.
Shaikh Nasser conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to President Benigno Aquino, and wishes of further progress and prosperity to the friendly Philippines people.
Shaikh Nasser expressed pride in delivering HM the King’s humanitarian aid and implementing development projects in the Philippines in order to reduce the sufferings of the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
He lauded the solid ties bonding the two countries in various fields.
“We are reaping the fruit of the outstanding historical relations bonding the two countries at all levels -leadership, government and people.
President Benigno Aquino expressed since thanks and appreciation to HM King Hamad for his kind humanitarian initiatives through providing relief aid to the people of the Philippines, praising Bahrain’s support for his country during all the situations it has gone through, which, he said, will consolidate bilateral relations of “fraternity, friendship and cooperation” in various fields.
He voiced pride in the solid ties bonding the two countries, expressing his country’s keen interest to bolster them.
