MANAMA: President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al-Khalifa, visited Bahrain International Endurance Village to follow up the preparations for the third Bahrain Animal Production Show (Marae’e 2014), which will be held under the Patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from 21-24 of current month.
BREEF President discussed with the organisers the procedures taken to ensure the success of the event, and highlighted the importance of the event that witnesses the participation of local and international animal producers.
He underscored HM the King’s concerns with the protection of livestock for its important role in reinforcing food security in the kingdom.
He also remarked that the event is a perfect opportunity for exchange of expertise in the field of animal production, as well as developing animal resources in Bahrain.
The BREEF is constantly cooperating with the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning as directed by the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and BREEF’s Honorary Chairman, Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to ensure a successful show.
BREEF’s President hailed the efforts paid by the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning led by the Minister Dr. Juma Al-Kaabi.
