The Minister was briefed the cabinet about the terror blast, in which three policemen had martyred while performing their duties of safeguarding national security and stability.
The cabinet held at the Gudaibiya Palace on Tuesday an extraordinary meeting, in the presence of the Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and discussed the heinous terrorist incident that took place in Daih village on Monday.
He added that the Interior Ministry had taken precautionary security measures to track down members of the terror group.
Then, the cabinet took a number of resolutions in implementation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The cabinet mandated the Interior Minister to continue combating terrorism relentlessly, and re-affirm the rule of the law so that all citizens enjoy security and stability.
