MANAMA: The Second Deputy Speaker of the Representatives Council and Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Committee at the Arab Parliament (AP) Shaikh Adel Al-Ma’awda and Member of AP’s Economic and Financial Affairs Committee MP Adel Al-Asoomi will participate in the first International Conference on Jerusalem.
The conference, themed “The Road to Jerusalem”, will be held in Amman, Jordan, under the patronage of the Jordanian Monarch King Abdulla II from April 28 to 30.
Reaffirming the religious importance of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Islamic and Christian sites, countering the Israeli Judaizaition policies and mobilising Islamic and Christian support for Al-Aqsa Mosque will feature on the agenda of the three-day conference.
The delegation’s participation in the conference aims to re-affirm the Bahraini parliament’s supportive stances towards the Palestinian people at various international gatherings.
