MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has called for the need to rally together and adopt unified stances in order to preserve the landmark national achievements in all fields, particularly security and stability, being essential pre-requisites for optimising national accomplishments.
He emphasised that any challenge facing the national march should be addressed within that the national framework, stressing that “We will never accept, under any circumstances, to allow those who seek to subvert our security and stability to interfere into our internal affairs.”
HRH Premier voiced the stances as he received, at the Gudaibiya Palace on Sunday, the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani, Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and a number of MPs and officials.
HRH Premier affirmed that the Bahraini people’s natural features of mutual love stemming from the one-family spirit bonding all citizens have safeguarded the kingdom against the plots staged against it so as to enter a whirlpool of violence and slide into to sectarianism.
The Prime Minister underlined that the targeting of the security of Bahrain is part of a plan aiming to destabilise the region, as a whole, and “we will be able to address it only when the solutions to our internal issues emanate from the members of the same people and nation.”
HRH Premier reviewed with the audience the crucial role played by the forefathers in enhancing the kingdom’s renaissance, progress and prosperity.
HRH praised the landmark patriotic and religious contributions of Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, being a loyal citizen who has dedicated himself to serving his nation and religion, and whose work will remain engraved in the national memory forever.
