MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al-Saud visited the Heritage Festival and toured Bahrain National Museum, accompanied by Culture Minister Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa.
HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Al-Saud arrived in the Kingdom to attend the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix. He showed great interest in the cultural events, being held as part of the National Heritage which will run until April 9 under the theme “Weaving Colors”.
The Minister always stresses the importance of the connection between culture and sport, lining up a series of cultural events which include the 16th Book Fair, the finalisation of the Tree of Life Visitors’ Centre and the heritage festival, annually held under the patronage of His Majesty king Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
