MANAMA: The General Director of Civil Defence announced that a homemade bomb was detonated on Janabiya Road near the entrance of Al Quraya on Saturday, injuring civil defense officers who were in the process of extinguishing burning tires.
Three civil defense officers sustained multiple injuries and were admitted to hospital for treatment while several others were treated on site for minor injuries.
