MANAMA: The Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro on Thursday praised initiative and positive steps undertaken by the investors and traders in diversifying import sources to give customers the opportunities to choose.
This came as the Minister visited Ramez Store in Isa Town as part of the Ministry’s efforts to control over the local markets and supermarkets in the country and to stand on its developments and updates all the time.
Branch Manager Yasser Musleh and Ibrahim Al Jaham briefed the Minister on the latest developments of the market movement and the percentage of patrons that witness increase in number by 10% in the past three months compared with the same period last year.
He also reviewed programmes and mechanisms implemented by the markets to receive holy month of Ramadan.
He also praised the campaigns and promotions carried out by stores.
