MANAMA: Head of HRH Premier’s Court, Shaikh Hussam bin Isa Al Khalifa received a number of an Arab and foreign journalists who participated in the honouring ceremony of Bahraini press pioneers and the accompanying workshop, held on Wednesday under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
Shaikh Hussam expressed thanks to the journalists for their attendance and their valuable contributions to the workshop.
He affirmed HRH Premier’s pride in the participation of Bahraini journalists and media figures in this occasion, which, he said, represents an opportunity to celebrate their achievements in serving Bahrain.
He highlighted the importance of communication between the Bahraini journalists and their Arab and foreigners counterparts to exchange views so as to upgrade the system of journalism and media and achieve professionalism and high-level of efficiency.
The journalists expressed their thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier and Bahrain for offering them this opportunity, pointing out Bahrain’s freedom of press and affirming that HRH Premier’s honour of Bahraini Journalists reflects his personal and the government’s respect for different opinions.
