The Bahrain German Friendship Society (BGFS) held its speaker dinner for the month of May 2014 at the Capital Club at Bahrain Financial Harbour.
The event was attended by a large number of society members, guests, Ambassadors, visiting German Health delegation and representatives from German embassy in Bahrain.
Tareq Wafa, Chairman of the Bahrain German Friendship Society welcomed in his speech all attendees on behalf of the board of directors, and welcomed the guest speaker from the official representative office of the German Economy in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen Andreas Hergenroether who spoke about AHK-The German Chamber Network as our reliable partner to promote bilateral trade and investment between Bahrain and Germany.
“We, the Society, continue to exert no effort in developing and strengthening the relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal republic of Germany through our active role in bridging between businessmen and women from both countries whether through our meetings and gatherings or part of mutual visits of business delegations of both countries,” Wafa added.
The board of directors and guests thanked Hergenroether for his speech and contribution and presented him with a token of appreciation.
