MANAMA: Bahrain will mark the Prophet’s Ascension (Al Isra’ wal Miraj) today (Sunday) at 08.30pm after night prayer (Ishaa prayer) at Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Centre.
The Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry is organising the annual event under the patronage of Supreme Islamic Council President Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al-Khalifa.
The ceremony features Holy Quran recitation and the ministry’s address, in addition to two lectures to be delivered by Sharia High Court of Cassation President Dr. Shaikh Ibrahim Rashid Al-Merrikhi and Shaikh Ahmed Salman Al-Makhouder from the Directorate of Religious Affairs.
