MANAMA: Industry and Commerce Minister, Dr. Hassan Fakhro, applauded what have been accomplished by the banking and finance sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain in enhancing economic growth and stimulate investment movement in this sector, in addition to attracting more foreign investment in Bahrain.
Minister expressed these views on Thursday during the meeting with the Chairman of Oasis Capital Bank Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa and Bank CEO Dr. Farid Ahmed Al Mulla, where the minister noted the strength of the banking sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and their influential role in enhancing the national economy and their contribution to increase the gross domestic product. The minister also pointed to the policies, legislation and regulations that characterized the Kingdom of Bahrain and has an impact to stabilized growth of banking sector.
Dr. Fakhro stressed leadership and government support to the banking sector welcoming all the initiatives and the positive steps taken by the because of its role in achieving government visions and directions.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa appreciates leadership and government and the Ministry in particular on facilities provided and supported incentive for all economic projects and plans carried out by the bank.
