MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, held talks with Arab Thought Forum (ATF), President HRH Prince El-Hassan bin Talal, who is in Bahrain to attend conference on dialogue among civilisations and cultures themed Civilisation in Service of Humanity.
HRH the Premier hailed deep-rooted fraternal relations bonding Bahrain and Jordan as well as their brotherly peoples.
He commended Prince El-Hassan bin Talal for enriching the conference with his enlightened and open thought that advocates peaceful co-existence, acceptance of others and dialogue among civilizations.
HRH the Premier and Prince El-Hassan discussed the key issues featuring on the agenda of the “Civilisation in Service of Humanity” conference.HRH the Premier stressed the need for human unity to transcend all differences, describing Bahrain as a bridge, being at the crossroads of cultures and civilisations.
ATF President and founder hailed joint cooperation, paying tribute to HRH the Premier for his keenness on bolstering bilateral relations. He hailed the culture of co-existence which reigns in Bahrain as well as its regional and international role in spreading peace and amity and building bridges between all religious and ethnic spectra.
HRH Prince El-Hassan bin Talal hailed Bahrain’s initiative to convene the conference, which stems from its pioneering role in fostering the values of tolerance between civilisations and religions.
