MANAMA: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, met at the Gudaibiya Palace on Thursday met with the Commander of United States Central Command (CENTCOM), General Lloyd James Austin III.
His Royal Highness and General Austin discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America.
His Royal Highness emphasized the long-standing ties between the two countries, and welcomed the role of the United States in maintaining regional stability and development.
His Royal Highness and General Austin also discussed significant regional and international developments during their meeting.
For his part, General Austin expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, and highlighted the importance of Bahrain¹s role in maintaining stability and security in the region. General Austin praised His Royal Highness’s role in furthering cooperation and collaboration between the two countries. He concluded by wishing the Kingdom further success and prosperity in the future.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Lt. General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
