MANAMA: Bahrain will remain strong, secure and on the right track of moving forward, according to HM King.
HM King Hamad asserted that Bahrain has been able to overcome all incidents and carry on its comprehensive development in various fields thanks to the loyalty of its people whose members have been determined to be masters of their own destiny and refused to leave their own affairs to those seeking no good for the region.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa was speaking as HM chaired Cabinet meeting at Al-Sakhir Palace on Sunday, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
HM the King reviewed with the cabinet a number of local and regional issues.
He directed ministries to inquire into reports that some individuals and institutions had received assistance to be trained outside the country, in breach of legal norms, and submit a detailed report therein to the cabinet so that those proven guilty will be held accountable.
On the latest regional developments, HM the King expressed hope that security and stability will be restored soon in brotherly Iraq, without any foreign intervention in its internal affairs so as to preserve its unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In light of HM the King’s directives, HRH Premier re-affirmed the government’s strategy with regard to the commitment to the principle of national sovereignty and not allowing any kind of interference in internal affairs under any pretexts or practices.
He also directed all ministries and government bodies, to inquire into reports hinting at attempts to interfere into Bahrain’s internal affairs through a number of programmes implemented by some international institutes and organisations, submit their findings to the cabinet, which, in turn, will submit it to HM the King, following Royal directives in this regard.
